For those who took out student loans If you could do it all

Easily would have avoided it and some of the shitty "schools" I went to. When you're a fresh out of high school kid you're naive. And it doesn't help when you have no adults who know what they're talking about and steer you the wrong way. When I was graduating in 2005 all the people I knew either never went to college or went to college under a different system and better economy. So you have no one to warn you. I think that's why you have so many people telling kids not to get loans and find another way.

Go to a cheap school. Get a job. Live with parents. Etc. Loans are shit. Avoid them as much as possible.

I remember I was offered a full-ride to my local uni, but passed it up because I felt I was better than that. I'm not.

I've hated this liberal shit show of a school. Been miserable the entire time. Now I'm too committed too leave before graduating. By the end of all this I'll be 35k in debt with a degree from a school rapidly losing it's prestige.

yeah I'd do it again, but my country has interest free student loans. in fact, if I could do it all over again I'd actually borrow more and throw it in an ETF (retrospective knowledge of the market is nice)

Yeah I did CS at a top uni and payed back my loan in less than a year.

I took out 20 grand and got a graduate degree in economics, now I'm Economist. So for me, no way.
