Has anyone ever received an offer after being put "on hold"?

Why do millennials never have any skills in finding a job. They check out Indeed.com once a week or once a month and call that job hunting. They apply to places and wait for them to call first. They only apply to once place at a time. They use the same cookie cutter resume for every application. Their references are their parent's friends and professors. They have no real experience or training and just a degree thinking anybody gives a shit about a GPA.

>submitted application
>month later, get set up for a phone interview the following week
>phone interview was nothing but questions that my resume could have answered
>wait a month
>get scheduled for in-person interview
>do in-person interview, nailed it
>wait two months
>get job offer
>wait four months
>get called in to fill out paperwork
>wait two months
>get called in for a security clearance interview
Of course, by that point I had already gotten a better offer from someone else and started working, but yeah, depending on the employer, you need to be patient
