If it's just with an HR person it's probably just basic interview shit nothing technical, if you get passed that then you'll probably have another interview with a technical person

Don't say stuff like this. Seriously, any "gee I dunno but I'm a quick learner" talk gets you axed. Phone interviews are for them to check off some boxes to make sure you are at least in the ballpark of what they are looking for skill-wise.

Dude, if you're actually a programmer you should be able to learn C# with ease.
If you know C or Java you should be able to fake knowing C#, and every programmer knows C and Java
