It helps to build credit, no?
Don't plan on spending $ on anything I don't already have saved
>don't go over your limit
>only buy things you can pay for
>set it up so it gets payed off automatically
>only withdraw cash with a debit card
That's about it. If you want to build good credit buy everything with it.

The purpose of credit is to use it to obtain even more credit. Don't worry about the debt because once you're big enough you won't even have to pay.
Pay it off on time, in full, every time.
Don't listen to faggots that try to tell you carrying a balance is better for your credit. They are wrong. Even if they were right it wouldn't be worth paying goypoints to the bank.
Try to keep max balance 30 percent or or less per month for optimum credit building. Make sure to use it any pay it every month ( part of credit score is based on number of on time payments)
Try to get a card with good rewards (cash ideally) if you can. But if you don't have a credit history you probably won't be getting the best cards.
No fee. Don't pay an annual fee.
I use a cash rewards card to auto pay all my recurring bills then autopay the card. It's like getting paid 300 dollars a year to pay bills in a convenient fashion.
Pay it on fucking time.
