Let's put the memes aside for a second now lads, give me a reason to get a job apart from "muh contributions to society"
Here is my current situation, I'm 27 and have been NEET for 5 years
>I own a (rural) bungalow in excellent condition with the mortgage paid off, (I bought this myself with money earned while at uni), I own a good car as well.
>I don't have "expensive tastes" like fancy cars/clothes etc, and wouldn't buy them even if I had the money
>I have EASILY enough NEETbux to cover my expenses (and luxury purchases), and save about £3000 per year which I don't need. This is due to not having to pay rent.
>There is a very low risk of the bux being cut off, and I have £30,000 savings in cash.
>I have a good STEM degree, so if for any reason I did need to get a job I could (I'm a NEET out of choice)
>I am enjoy hiking, gardening etc. With my free time I go on week long camping trips every few weeks, and sometimes tour the UK living in the back of my car
There's no real reason is there?
>>1540639
Who gets dressed before they take a shit?
>>1540639
There's no reason.
Stay a NEET but this isn't the board, try /r9k/.
We're Maximalist Wagecucks here, you wouldn't want to talk to us anyway
>>1540639
r9k knows about this more, you should go there.
>>1540639
where the neetbucks from?
pls give advise i have none
>>1540644
r9k NEETs are usually NEETs because they are too autistic for normal life, and don't really enjoy being a NEET but are too scared/unable to get a job.
>>1540647
That's not a reason, I've been thinking about this for a while and can't see any proper reasons to get a job (I have enough shekels).
>>1540657
Standard unemployment benefits are easy to get (this is what I got at the start while looking for a job, I then realised that i could easily live of them so stopped looking).
To get the real money though you need to make yourself appear totally unemployable, and get on long term bux (can't remember what they're called). e.g. to get mine I acted completely autistic, and did half truths to make it seem like I dropped out of secondary school with no qualifications.

meh...
just checked my country's unemployment benefits and I don't think I can apply for any
the 'basic' benefit requires a year worked, for a year paid (one year of free shit is tops)
then come other stuff on top of the basic free shit, but it is for old people 45+, long term unemployment with families and such...
what awesome country are you from?
>>1540643
People that sleep naked.
>>1540688
I'm in the UK, I know you can't do this in every country (USA being a obvious one).
The standard benefits here (called the job seekers allowance here) is pretty shit, but definitely livable. Goes on forever (if you seem unemployable and not just lazy).
You tried autismbux (faking disabilities/autism/mental disorders), these are hard to get but pay way more than you need?
>>1540700
Nice try.
I would've accepted "nudists".
im 27 too OP and im from spain and im neet
im depressed due balding and last thing I want is to end up in some shit tier office or job (i only have Hs education anyway, not like anyone will hire me, and not like i want to work)
wages are shit
i make some bucks from the internet from my youtube channel and from crypto, less than 400 bucks
i wish i could get in neetbux but it wouldn't be much more than that and also its probably impossible unless u are a minority or ur family has 0 properties
my dad owns 2 flats and parking spots so i guess i will never qualify
i never go out except to the gym and to fuck a model a month (escort) so i dont go nuts
i dont see any way to improve my life unless i win the lottery or i buy some shitcoin that makes me rich
>>1540711
meh looks like the only disability benefits come in form of tax cuts for the employer (half the job offerings ask for disability certificate)
fucking spain m8
WAGEKEKS MY QUESTION STILL STANDS, WHY SHOULD I GET A JOB?
>>1540731
Sorry for you mate.
I'd try getting the autismbux equivalent in Spain since in the UK anyway these are different to unemployment benefits in the requirements, doesn't matter if you're unsuccessful but it's great if you get them (they're what I'm on).
If you can't get them then a excellent, easy way of making money is through medical trials (get paid to take drugs).
I don't do these, but they pay very well at £2250 for 2 weeks laying in bed and require no effort, also if you're worried about danger I can guarantee they will do less damage to your body than 10 weeks at a min wage manual job will.
>>1540739
Unlucky is all I can say, I'm sorry.
median wages are complete shit (net wages) all over the europe compared to neetbux. no quality jobs open too whatsoever
no reason to try and this is perfect desu
>>1540755
the only reason I'd get a job in your situation is if I could find something I could enjoy
maybe try and make some monies out of your hobbies
>>1540770
That's pretty much what I thought
Hey Im a canadian that has british heritage. Should I get my passport and move to the UK? Seems pretty perfect
In canada you get cut off benefits pretty quickly unless you're legitimately disabled and no you can't bullshit your way to getting jobseekers
>>1540739
i need help this is shit
i feel like killing myself since my "best years" which never happened are already over
>>1540639
It sounds like you are retired.
Saving while retired means you can retire in perpetuity.
Invest your savings properly and you never have to work again.
>>1540639
From what I've read.
You will get fucked one day.
>>1540639
Use your £30,000 cash
ISA this tax year £15,240
Next year the allowance is about £20k
Buy Vanguard total US stock market and forget about it for 20 years
>>1540639
sounds like you have your life sorted and furfilled.
Don't go wagecuck unless it was something you enjoyed.
If you would enjoy working in your STEM degree whether it be small time academia like tutoring or maybe you really like semi conductors and want to work in a development team for them then maybe consider doing it.
>>1540664
>unemployment
This triggers me
>>1540639
OP do you have any artistic endeavours? NEETs have a lot of time to study and pursue arts, but I haven't heard many NEETs talking about art.
>>1542279
i make music, even got a vinyl released in a record label, it's all for nothing since you cant make a living out of it, the system guarantees that you'll lose any artistic aspirations in exchange of rotting in a cubicle
