math and stats can get u anywhere u want
Finance or accounting. Don't do STEM. No upward growth for your career. You'll be a blue collar worker in a white collar environment.
Start your own buisness in an area you have a passion for which shows a boom.
You'll easily find others in the industry to guide you if you really love it.

Buy ''worthless''
It won't save you that much money since Computer science and Mathematics and statistics are both good picks, but it will give you more insight on what to pick.
Also study on the side something you're passionate about like economics.(do not major in this).
If you don't want to buy the book then keep this rule in mind ''the more math your degree has the more it can pay you compared to other degrees'' because people generally don't like to do math.
