YOU LITERALLY CAN'T WIN ANYMORE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

>save your money kids
IT DOESN'T EVEN MATTER YOU FUCKING ASSHOLES WE JUST LOSE 3% EVERY YEAR ANYWAY YOU FUCKING PIECES OF SHIT
>>
This is a small inflation cycle, meng. There were much worse inflationary times
>>
>>1518506

On the contrary, my dude. Now is the time to take out a mortgage, knowing that in ten years the mortgage will be equivalent to one year's salary due to said inflation.

try r9k

Excellent idea. Fixed rate debt is the best way to profit in inflationary times.

If you get screwed by inflation, it's your own fault
>>
>>1519324
>Fixed rate debt
Good luck getting that
>>
>>1519373
Nearly every mortgage in the US has that option.
>>

>>1519373
Yeah aren't like... the vast majority of mortgages 30 year fixed?
>>
>>1518506
>lose 3% every year
This is a meme. Inflation is not "3%", it's variable. It was damn near 10% in the 80s and it's 1.1% right now.

>>1519373
What are you talking about? Mortgages are meant to be fixed rate. My condo is 2.85% for 15 years.

>It was damn near 10% in the 80s
I'm not sure if interest follows inflation or inflation follows interest, but in the early 80s you could get 30 year treasury bonds at almost 18 fucking percent. Similarly, mortgage rates were in the mid-high teens. Just an interesting correlation.
