>tfw you read stories from american university students and their excellent job prospects and starting wage
>>1518024
You must have selective attention if you didn't also notice the 10's of thousands of dollars in loan debt we have to get into to have a chance at the prospects and wages.
>>1518024
You sound like such a whiney little bitch.
>>1518245
>$62500 starting

whatever you've gotta do man
All a lie my nigger. The professors shill up the starting wage to get you to gibs them tuition.
Actually having a job at the end of uni is more rare than common, even for decent majors, unless you majorly interned and did side jobs to have some xp, HR loves dat xp. But the profs don't tell you how important the internships and side jobs are, they lead you to believe you walk out the door and someone runs up with a huge check.
But I can't really complain, since there are jobs that make okay money, just not crazy money and them running you down to bang on your door like the unis tell you. Not like I'm gonna ever want for work.
>>1518304
Implying you make better.
I think I only have like 35/40k debt, and I had 10k left over as float money at the end of uni so that's more like 25/30k really. I don't know how but I did it.
So I'm more like 40k starting, 30k debt. Not bad.

Senpai, I got friends in the -hundreds-. American education can be really good if you get a low cost degree in a relevant field, but people will line up outside your door to lend you unlimited monies to pursue the most worthless rag you can imagine.
>>1518024
>no debt
>make 30k out of college
>live at home saving 1200 and investing 100 monthly
>still trying to get a promotion at work, still trying to make more from investing
will i ever be satisfied?

Working environment in America is fucking hostile and cruel. In my workplace it's not really okay to be "straight" and talking about girls is a guaranty of getting fired.
Then again, grass is always greener on the other side.
No one wants to be an American today. People want to be Norwegian, Swiss, Swedish, French. Americans are entirely fucked and they will have less prospects in life than generic 3rd worlders. They all know that by now though.
>>1518269
>>$62500 starting

>you're not 15 years old, a technical genius, who'll work for a subsistence wage in hopes of making it as a millionaire in the startup culture?
>you're worthless
It's extra funny when you listen to them basically admit that they aren't going to hire specialists "because that's old technology!" (i.e. it wasn't made internally by the same company in the last two years) or anyone above the age of 30 if they can help it.
