Why would you spend other people's money just to pay them back later if you have the money to pay for it right then and there? A significant portion of credit card users drive themselves into crippling debt by not using their credit cards responsibly (the way you suggest).

Credit cards are actually the plastic Jew. The credit card companies stand to make a lot more money off you than you are going to make off of them through these "reward programs," otherwise they would not be offering them.
