Any of you faggots ever hired Labor Ready guys for projects?
Does Labor Ready take care of workers comp insurance, and all of that other redtape shit that makes hiring a $15/hr dude almost impossible/not worth it?
I've thought about it but haven't done it. Just ask the company if they cover workmans comp or if you need to. If you wanna be extra cautious ask for a copy of their policy in writing.
You could also use general liability insurance. I get mine for $400 a year.
Just depends on how big you are and where you are at. You could just say fuck it and do your thing with no coverage. There's a guy on here with a mil per year business that has no insurance.
Workmans comp is a fuckin ripoff. They wanted $1500 per year for me to cover 1 employee. And I have a fucking cleaning business. I told them to fuck off.

$1500? That's actually a little better than I thought, but I'm running saw and shit, so they may hit me harder. Yeah, that's half the reason I want a contractor that someone else is sweating the hr bullshit over. The other reason, I can pay a fair amount, but the work is a bit more sporadic (1 or 2 5 hr shifts a week).
I'll just give them a call. Thanks broseph!
