Be me. Job offer in communications paying 90k. Another job offer in finance/insurance brokering paying 65k.
I recently finished up a job in communications and want to try something new. The pay is better from public service, but brokering could be worth more down the line.
What do?

What kind of broker? That's extremely vague, OP.

Insurance and then eventually finance. Probably a 3-5 year process all up.
Anyone?

Can you post your resume?
Communications job, definitely. Say you work at the brokerage firm for 5 years, you're opportunity cost is already at $125k.
You also might end up sucking at the financial brokerage firm and be far worse off in the long run.
Take the higher paying job. Bank that extra cash and learn how to invest or trade. Or use it to buy real estate. Whatever tickles your fancy
