My father left me a small condo in Manhattan. How much would I need to make to live in Manhattan with a paid off place?
What's the HOA?

2500 a year

Holy shit that's cheap. You sure that's per year? You shouldn't need much at all then.

what do you mean? if your housing costs close to nothing, then not much. you could also rent it and move far away.

Why don't you rent it out?

well, yes, the expenses come from housing mostly. if you need a car then a car slot, that somewhat includes housing i guess.
other than that? it's a cheap city overaal in a international scale

If you don't have to pay any rent, you take public transportation, and you are willing to be your own labor (cook for yourself, clean for yourself, shop for yourself) it should cost you less than 1000 dollars to live there per month. not counting insurance. You might be able to get that much earning minimum wage, honestly.
Housing is the biggest expense there, and for a bachelor food is usually pretty cheap and medical care as well.
You can live very cheaply if your rent is free. nightlife is expensive. Everything else is cheap.
Depends on your standard of living.
If you're content with a lower-middle class lifestyle, $50k net of taxes will probably suffice.
$100k would be enough for a typical middle-class lifestyle; $200k for typical upper-middle.
