Idk about others and I'm sure it would draw in some idiots eventually, but the big draw to trading crypto for me is the complete unnecessity of a brokerage.

Being able to buy and sell for mega-low fees with complete control over your money and access to far more information on the market than free stock charts will ever give you (market depth charts, volume, buy/sell orders) is what makes it great for anyone to start trading without the need for a broker.

Starting a crypto hedge fund would be a different story, but you have to be able to prove your gains are good on a consistent basis.

I hope not. Ethtrade is a ponzi scheme. That link, btw, has an embedded referral code, for those that didn't notice. Literally everyone that says that they've made money with them uses the exact same broken English and posts from new accounts with no rep on reddit (Yeah, yeah, fuck you too. Reddit post tracking helped in this case).

If you want to build a real crypto brokerage firm, and you or your team already makes money doing this, I'd be down. Maybe as an investor, maybe as a trader, but I don't have enough money of my own in there to make 0.5% daily profits worth spending all day in front of the computer, so I've been looking to change something there.
