sup /biz/ ive popped in here a couple times before but now im interested in becoming a /biz/nessman.

So is stock trading still mainly handled through brokers and exchanges as a barrier for lower people getting into economics or is there a website/app you can get, drop a couple hundred in and invest in what you want then sit back and watch it grow or flop while being able to sell or buy from the comfort of your home?
