Well lads, the U.K. Is getting rid of its paper £5 note in for a polymer version. It will reach circulation in September (or October) and the original paper note would stop being accepted at shops and other places in May 2017.Would this mean overtime the £5 note will be valued more or would it just collapse and nobody will give a shit apart from maybe collectors?
Look at what Canadian dollar and two dollar bills go for these days. They were discontinued awhile ago so I'm guessing that would be a reasonable gauge
