Hey /biz/ would a needle cleaning company be a good idea?
>main business inspect parks/playgrounds for needles every 7 days
>get paid by city/community in most cases
>when a park/playground/housing development starts our service we put up a sign that says "needle free park" etc
>they can advertise that they use our service
>market value of properties using our service will go up since familys will feel safe to move in
>when we get a couple of parks/apartments and it becomes the norm. those not using our service will be looked at as possibly unsafe
What do you think? It would also have very low business costs probably just a rapevan/website/phone number.
Job is easy to do with metal detectors
What if the druggies return and leave needles again. You'd be tied up maintaining old areas as well as cleaning new areas

>"Yeah, the house isnt great, but at least it was in a needle free zone!"
>"What? That park isnt needle free? I dont trust them."
OP, this idea is stupid as fuck.

Thats why we inspect them every 7 days

Why? I think parents would rather let their kids play in a park that has been inspected regulary than just let them get accidentaly high on heroin
I don't see this working but it doesn't mean you can't try.
You'd have more success engineering some kind of magnetic device that picks up the debris and then selling it to municipalities. They'll have their own maintenance crews us it.

Maybe a rapevan with a magnetic front or a modified streetcleaner could work for faster sweeps of parks the only problem would be a strong enough magnet.

NO CHANCE THATS WHAT YOU'VE GOT
>>1474180
You're on the right track...
Just replace "needles" with "Niggers" and you got yourself a startup.

>market value will go up
No, I dont think anyone wants to buy a house in a suburb that would actually require this service - it means that there are active drug users about and that these drug users aren't interested in disposing of their mess safely.
Start a drug user elimination squad and I would support that, though.

Oh and also, if you declare a park needle free and someone gets jabbed on an old needle you would probably be liable, so the risk is pretty high. It would make a good not for profit community concept but not a viable business model.
