Use the RobinHood app, rather than a broker.
That way you don't pay anything, and still get access to the market.
They don't have real price quotes, only averages, and you can't get any leverage, but that's about it.
The only real problem I have with them is that sometimes they crash and you can't buy or sell shit, which sucks if you're trying to get out.

YES but it isn't so much the actual price of the stock that matters, the real important thing is never trade a stock that trades less than $3,000,000 minimum per day.

The price of the shares doesn't matter "too" much as long as over $3,000,000 a day goes through it.

For example there are stocks that cost 5$ but over $100,000,000 volume per day. And they are very stable despite their low share price.
