Brit-fag currently doing A2s with AAA prediction.
Can go two ways, do Dentistry and get a clinic from retiring parents which would get me around ~150k profit p/a with me working there after 3 years, 80k starting (5 year course + 1 year VTE training)
2. Do a foundational course for Engineering, as I haven't done Physics or Maths @ AS or A2 and then progress into Manchester Uni for Chemical Engineering etc or apply to Cambrige/Oxford/Imperial after Foundation to progress into their Engineering Programs or Quant programs. (1 Year Foundation, 3 Year Bsc, 1 year Msc potentially in financial markets)
Thinking that Engineering could get me into Canary Warf, and could earn more money that way than Dentistry because Dental Clinics are fucking expensive to expand because it's all NHS in the UK and dentists get paid fuck all.
Just done my A2s. Economics at Cambridge, well chuffed. Good luck, lad!
I would recommend Dentistry. Your alternative seems a bit iffy, but no doubt you would earn decent cash if your plan worked. Medical professions, especially your own practice, are fantastic.

Dentistry would get me fuck all imo, around 120k after tax.
And I can't increase it much after that.

Can you get licensed in the United States?

3years of part time study + expenses + school fees + visa fees, which would also mean I'd lose potential earnings in UK clinic (Go down to 65k).
It's not easy.
