Hey /biz/, with all the memecoin threads and generally curious amount of people on this board I thought I'd make a general thread where we discuss our current methods of self employment/business/trading and how it's going.
Mine: I rented office space a few weeks back with my dad and we've been working on a web design service to try and make money to fund our other projects.
It's definitely hard finding leads as a new company with no prior referrals though - next Monday I'm just going to do some hardcore cold calling all week to try and get a sale or two.
What about you /SEG/? Any businesses you're starting? New stocks or cryptos you're looking into? Even small side projects are welcome.
I am currently studying software development and have a little app aimed at teens going up at the moment, It took one hour to be approved on Android, its been waiting on iOS approval for like 4 fucking days.

I day trade penny stocks
Tile guy, I post here pretty often.
I'd try some flyers, maybe a Google ad. Also, actually stopping by a business and saying hello is 100x better than cold calling. Just stop in, meet for a sec, tell them what you do and drop off a flyer. They may offer their info to you as well. Do like 50 of those a week, and you could prob pick up a customer.
Social media is good too. A company facebook, and also just posting on your personal page about what you do.
good luck.

how much experience did you have with tiles when you started? How many customers did it take before you had a solid routine down?
I give discounted 1 hour massage to female friends. No happy endings for me though, bangbros lied to me.

Pawn, gold, and guns guy here. Right now I'm trying to recover revenues by dumping my current scrap refiner. NTR was great, but about a year ago they became "Elemental," and have really gone to shit. Although their settlement schedule hasn't changed, melt loss has gone up almost 2% since then, which tells me that they're scam-tier at this point.
Anyone got a recommendation?

I've been giving people our business cards and telling them what we do for the most part the last few days. I also offer commissions as a thank you gift to anyone who helps us find work (by referring us of course) and I've had some great responses with that. Time will tell though
