Just say you had a cashier job before. Easy stuff. Duties include: Cashiering, sweeping floors, cleaning bathrooms, helping customers. Always smiling. Shit like that. They train you to their own satisfaction / to company standards and policies. If some illegal beaner can do it, then so can you.

Depends.
My place found out because it was obvious I couldn't do the work I claimed to be experienced in.
After they fired me, though, they gave me a recommendation to a competing place. I wasn't going to complain.
