I'll be entering my fourth year in psychology in two weeks. I work part-time in a child care service, but I really want to quit that job, since I don't like kids (I worked there for the money). I'll be getting a consulting hypnotist license in november, so I will start something with that in 2017. In the meantime, should I stick with my curent job (working with kids), or do you guys have better ideas? I live in Canada btw.

>Earning money with a psych degree
Nope, you're fucked. Not even joking. What were you thinking? Because it sounds like you weren't.
The only hope you have is to either be brilliant at it and hope someone notices or to apply your understanding of the human mind in a creative and unique way that hasn't been done to death before. Is that what you're hoping to find here?

>Your best hope is to work in a completely unrelated field
Funny because that actually reminds me of an article I read in a reputable paper. The point it made was that we need more psych/philosophy/history etc. Majors in mid and high level management positions. Because these people actually ask themselves questions like why, how and what if. Apparently middle management is so notorious for fucking things up it actually warranted research.

Yup. OP don't stress to much man. I was you in college man thinking I was wasting my money on a useless degree.. I would just get yourself out there. Build connections. And don't be a pussy like 90 percent of psych majors are
H.R. and any type of analyst job would also work. Just make sure that you're good with excel/SPSS if you go the analyst route.
Put everything into legs.
