Do you're re search on that. That's what has caused the dip but they are saying that those deaths were not because of the drug The drug overall has been a success and is at the stage were it has major potential to moon in my opinion.

>Aurinia disclosed that the trial resulted in 13 deaths out of 265 patients as well as a higher overall rate of serious adverse events in both voclosporin groups.
Something tells me that the FDA isn't going to share your opinion.

Have fun on Earth. Non Aurinia invester....
Used to work in pharmaceutical research. Here's what I can tell you:
1. The percentage of deaths in this study are unusually high. Yes, it is a sick population and death is not something that is completely unexpected, but the amount of patient deaths could warrant an FDA audit. FDA audit is never good.
2. The drug is having some serious success and is quite innovative. It will likely go to market SOME DAY. However, it is important to note that this drug hasn't even gone through stage III trials. It has a ways to go before we see its widespread use. This company is not going to moon any time soon, at least on this drug. I think a good idea is to wait on this one and see if it gets audited, or gets approval for phase III trials.
