Anyone who got this degree, tell me how it is and what opportunity it gives, you will be handsomely rewarded in high test thicc women
Replying because Charlie Kelly
I'm in my 3rd year and its definitely one of the best business degrees, depends highly on your ability to socialise and network but most people doing finance are pretty cool relative to other courses so its chill. Just do heaps of extra-curricular shit, volunteer, join an economics club, call stockbrokers for weekend work and there is a good chance you'll get rich. Look into the latest developments in machine learning money management though so you can find out what areas to avoid. Also its not heavy on maths but try to get a good knowledge of the basics down before you start

not OP but should I minor in economics with finance major if I'm decent at math but not very interested in doing a lot of it?

>work in a big 4 bank and be a financial manager/advisor.
sounds like a /biz/ meme position.

Considering a finance degree because I failed CS. The math was too much for me. I feel like I'm definitely fine with handling numbers but I just can't to discrete math, proofs etc. How hard is the math requirement for Finance?

Stat I and II, Calc I and II, Descrete Math and Econometrics are all a pain in the ass and I hate them all.
But if you're a 40 hour a week student that studies hard you can work through it
If you failed CS, you'll likely do poorly in FINC
