Hi fellow anons,
I'm in search for financial data to do some machine learning. Particularly stock market data on a hourly base.
You might think of yahoo or google but their data is not long term or just on a daily base.
Can someone help out? Don't want to spend thousands (not at this point).
Dude, have you even tried? Just look up trading competitions.

Mh yeah, but I don't want to back test some algorithm. I want to download historical stock data (maybe including some other market data) on a hourly base.
But thank you for the effort anyways anon.

Yeah, right ...
see http://ichart.yahoo.com/table.csv?s=AAPL&a={date.addMonths(-2).format(%27MM%27)}&b={date.today.format(%27dd%27)}&c={date.today.format(%27yyyy%27)}&d={date.addMonths(-1).format(%27MM%27)}&e={date.today.format(%27dd%27)}&f={date.today.format(%27yyyy%27)}&g=d&ignore=.csv
no hourly data in sight. There is no parameter for that one.
I don't need hourly data for the last 15 days (like google finance stuff) I need ~2 years.
But thanks for trying anon.
use quandl.
Quandl, only 1k bucks a year.
I know nothing is for free but on the other hand ...this is 4chan full of anons with lots of knowledge
I might go for the daily data and build up hourly data in the mean time on my own.
I want this too

Hey ananon, as mentioned before #1442887 I could collect the data by myself.
BUT I have to wait a long time to get a good enough time horizon.
... but you already know I guess
bump it again
