Hey /biz/! I have a few k loose again, and I am looking for some new ETF for my portfolio. ATM I have mostly boring indexes like S&P 500 and DAX in my portfolio and I am looking for some sector ETFs.

ATM I have ITA (defence), XLU (utilities) and VNQ (REIT) in my radar.

Do you have any opinions or other suggestions according what should I buy next?

I am from Europe so currency is also a thing to be considered.

Or how about some BRK-B?

No ideas at all?

ETFs are too much of a smart investment for /biz/, mein Freund.
You are literally competing with meme coins and "selling human shit general".

And look for food etfs.
But indices are pretty good anyway.

>grandpa tier

Sounds about right. Put most your money in this grandpa tier and take some play around money for meme coins and various semi-legal /biz/ scams.

Look at their portfolios and start building yours in a similar way

Fucking meme shit...

I think I am leaning towards strong brands right now so IYK would be a nice choice. However, BRK would be the same or even better than some ETF...

The second choice which I am going to buy with my student loan in a month or two is going to be harder though. ITA would be nice, but I am not sure how the industry is going to change after the election. Utilities are strongly affected by energy prices and rates, but the sector has been a steady grower like REIT.

I have this ETF https://www.ishares.com/us/products/239637/EEM and I bought in around late February/early March and it's increased 19% in it's value, and gives around .7% in dividends. I'd hold onto it long term

I've got IS3N which is basically the same. In my opinion every portfolio should have a bit of emerging markets.
