>90% of people who make fun of accounting have never studied financial accounting
How true is this?

Very because accounting ppl have no humor.
90% of all people. Most accountants I know are not enjoyable to be around

Accounting is actually pretty cool. I enjoyed the classes I took in college and even considered it as a career. Very interesting if you can see the practical implications of what you're studying.

I have an MBA so I was forced to study financial accounting. I like finance because investing and choosing profitable management choices is kind of cool. I make fun of accounting because it's pure shit grunt work for Asians and Indians to slave away at. Shit is boring as fuck and they smell. you start to smell too just by studying it

I make fun of accounting just because it is a wageslave tier career.
I took 3 accounting classes at UIUC, the #2 undergraduate accounting program.
I went on to start my own business and I hired an accountant, but it's nice to be able to know what the fuck they're doing with your money.
I think anyone thinking of opening a business should take an accounting class or two.
That being said, anyone who takes up a career as an accountant is the definition of a wageslave.

>That fucking pic
If I wasn't on my phone I would post sadaveragecubicleworker.jpg
Even if they're not in a cubicle, all these people spend their day hunched behind an LCD monitor, drinking their hundreth cup of coffee today while their skin turns greasy, just to convert their excel sheets into retard proof piecharts for idiotic middle management.

Same. I've taken two classes of it for a business admin minor and thought it was pretty fun.
You want a fucking dry and boring subject, try engineering statistics, it wasn't that bad at first but by the end holy shit.
I laugh at all the asians who do commerce degrees thinking they'll get rich by being an accountant, when in reality they'll get shitty pay for the first 10 years of their career.
Accounting, though, is an essential skill that any modern business man/entrepreneur should have. I took accounting classes when studying for my masters of engineering, and it was interesting at times. I preferred macroeconomics and finance.
