Is it true that getting /fit/ makes you more likely to do well in interviews and pitches and makes people easier to influence because they automatically assume you're hard working and you have a natural "presence" and "dominance"?

Its worked for me anon
Go to the gym irregardless of your goals, it will in general improve your whole life
Thats what i originally told myself when i stated going to the gym to try and convince myself i wasn't desperate for girls (Getting them now btw)
For the average person can help by making you more attractive for sure, but that only works if the people you are working with are actually attracted to your gender, it might make some guys feel like they need to compete with you more though but for the guys that aren't like that they will probably follow you more
For the people who don't give a shit what you look like or don't see you as a threat in any way because they are far above you they will just assume you are a hard worker and treat you as such provided you aren't an obnoxious or egotistic idiot
I am saying this purely from what i have experienced and the odd psychology stuff i have read online, i am still focused on education and haven't had a proper job in my life so don't believe it's going to make a massive change in your career, but it definitely will make your life better
Go to /fit/ and read the sticky

No, but getting /fit/ does improve your self image resulting in higher confidence levels.
Confidence makes you more likely to do well in interviews.

it helps u look more presentable on top of what others said. Id rather be a young fit guy wearing a nice fitted suit than a fat fuck with baggy clothes.
