rich people tend to be notorious philanthropists and donators of large public buildings with their names on them. At least as they get older and realize everyone resents them. Charity for the sake of legacy is a thing. Rich bastards want to be remembered for the kids they fed, not the ones they exploited in Indian sweat shops.
