Anyone heard of Murex?

I recently got an "analyst" job opportunity that's basically a bona fide tech support role. Not sure if it's worth it and if there are any serious career progression and/or exit opportunities since it's such a niche subsection of finance-IT.

What's worth noting is that I'm new to the job market and basically have no experience lol.

Murex is shit, but all the banks and large institutions where I am use it. The other one is Calypso. Either way be ready to be shit on all day, I know when something didn't work I'd get on the phone right away and shit on the other side of the phone and I was just an intern.

What do you guys think of ICE in general and their ICE IM shit especially now that Yahoo won't integrate anymore with it?

Declined an offer from them since it was basically JUST supporting that platform.
