No, it's not mining at all. That "app" is a masked website faucet, literally scam tier faucet that just gives out pennies of their profit from people viewing their ads.

If you actually want to mine on your phone/tablets: minergate.com/a/51037e1d7fd7c63c3572b20e

It's worth it if you charge them up for free (You can find ways to do this) or own a lot of devices laying around.

Or you can just use it on your real computer when you're at work or browsing the web and make a shit ton more.
