>Some guy got caught in my area for buying shit with stolen creditcards in stores
>He was driving a maserati
>Given like 3 months and probation
>Probably made $100,000+ at least
Why aren't all the NEETs on /biz/ doing this yet? You want to get rich quick and not work but why aren't you doing this one easy trick to make loads of money?
I think you need to check your facts.
Most people busted with credit card fraud will do at least 1 year in jail. Sometimes 3 - 5 depending on the extent of the fraud.

Small time crime.
>He was driving a maserati
Probably bigger credit fraud you aren't seeing
>Given like 3 months and probation
Meaning he snitched on some people and cut a plea deal.
>Probably made $100,000+ at least
Probably mostly from his other fraud.

Implying it's easy to spend more than 20 or 30k on random stuff.
Implying you have any use for this stuff. Implying it's fun and easy to sell it.
Implying police won't seize your bank account and confiscate most of the stuff after they find out.
Implying we at /biz/ don't have better alternatives.

Considering you can make $8000+ in one go it can't be that bad. If you get macbooks or something you can resell at minimum 80% value within a couple hours
