>gold
Why the fuck does everyone go only for gold and not silver? I know it's more volatile, but still.
>>1429116
timestamp? that is savage
>>1429116
Because let's face it, gold is shiny and cool. Silver is boring and bland. It's like being a chink in the Olympics, if you win silver instead of gold your family will be sent to a work camp for failure.

Can't. I took that pic months ago and Everything there is now locked up away from my actual residence.
But this is what I bought a couple of months ago:
10 oz bar by Sunshine mint at spot price from JM Bullion, some A-Mark 1 oz rounds, a scrap gold ring I got for below melt. The Sunshine round I keep here just to look at. Soon I'll put it all in storage with the rest.
I also have a 1/4 oz gold Maple Leaf (not seen in the pic) in storage. I bought when was at about $1170 for only 6% over spot. I don't like gold much and don't need it in high weights.

If (when) the dollar shits itself, what silver would I use for trade? I can't find any junk silver coins at a good price except for the 40% Kennedy half dollars, and they're kind of low on silver content.
Most junk has a higher premium than silver Eagles for fucks sake.

Because silver is taxed as fuck in UK
I wish silver wasn't taxed in UK. I wrote a letter to Downing Street asking them to fucking sort it out but I think it was the EUs fault not UK. But since we're now leaving I can try again and hopefully they will
I have gold but it is too expensive, I can't make a massive stack without spending my entir savongs
>>1429721
why do you want a "massive stack"? why don't you make a "massive stack" of plastic if you don't care about the actual intrinsic value and are only in it for the stupid instagramming? pleb
>>1429747
So I can feel very wealthy
I never said I didn't care about the intrinsic value. That was exactly the reason the tax bothers me you inbred
>>1429747
where did he say anything about being a social media whore?
You want a "massive stack" because it's that much more value added when a recession or depression hits, which you can then parlay into something else. Buy when undervalued, sell when overvalued, repeat ad nauseum.
