I'm a 20 year old student with no career or business.
Is there any point to me trying to network with adults at events, as I have nothing to offer in terms of business or connections or my own?
Would people at networking events even talk to me if they asked "What do you do?" and I replied that I was a student? If not, how can I respond or act in order for them to talk to me?
Is it possible to meet people at events who can teach you things without expecting anything in return?
no. stay home and create value .
most ppl are pieces of shit and not worthwhile investments anyways. you can completely control how urself.

Don't have the resources, time, or creativity to start a business myself at the minute, if that's what you mean by "create value"

>Don't have the resources, time, or creativity
oh well boohoo.
then maybe all that shit is what u need to stay home and create.
instead of whoring your time and recourses to financial seminar scams and online japanimation web forums.

>Create resources
I have a job to get money
>Create time
I am a student, and have a job. Not possible to just create time.
>Create creativity
What?
All I asked was a couple of reasonable questions, no need to get hostile.
And I mentioned nothing about "financial seminar scams". There was an event near me that had a networking session afterwards, I was wondering if I should bother staying for it.
Maybe you should stop giving bad advice and focus on "creating value" (what a vague, nebulous term) yourself.
