Sourcing some worms (say 1k) for a test run in a single big tree. 14 day incubation, 27 day feeding cycle, and 10 day cocoon time. Will report back in, say, two months or so.
Until then silk general I guess.

What is this
Don't think I could ever just unroll all those cocoons and fuck over all the little animals that are sleeping inside. I'm not even vegetarian but that's just cruel.

I'm doing peace silk. Partly unrolling the cocoon doesn't kill them, which is what peace silk is. Most silk is made by boiling them alive in their cocoons, which I'm not doing.

Ah that's pretty cool then, didn't know that was possible. So in a few months you'll have a fuckton of moths flying around?
>>1423740
Basically, yes. Good news is I can store and possibly resell their eggs. Bad news is these little bastards everywhere.
>>1423731
Right? Imagine if someone did that to you
>Nocturnal
>Covered in hairs
>Just wants to be left alone in its cocoon
They're just me
>>1423741
Well they're pretty cute, it's better than wasps or crocodiles or something.
>>1423858
A bit. For some reason they look angry all the time though.
