Had an accident a while back and multiple surguries that left me incapacitated + pain.

Currently on goverment benefits for about €400 a month. I am doing some part time work but can barely make it by the end of the month.

How do I invest the money in a shit-tier european country? I would also consider relocation to another EU country if there is some kind of way to pull it off.

How incapacitated? Is it permanent? East Europe is a great place to live cheaply but thats also its downside.

yeah permanent nerve damage. Basically I cannot sit or stand for more than half an hour.

I am looking for a steady income. I always had minimal expenses. I am pretty solitary as well.

Look into passive income (or fixed income) like bonds, annuities, notes, treasuries, etc. That should be what you're looking for man. Best of luck! Also, before buying some of these products from a banker, always ask yourself, "what incentive does the banker have to sell me this product," and really think about it. Not everybody is as kind as the people on this board and the fixed income market is a "buyer beware" market. Anyways, best of luck mate.

The entire financial system is about to collapse, and first and foremost is bonds. most eurozone countries are at negative yields already, which means that the prices are extremely high and that you're paying the govt to borrow money from you, so that will only lose you money.

You're not going to find any good fixed income opportunities around because any bond that has high enough yield to be meaningful will be high risk corporate garbage that's all but guaranteed to default when the recession hits.

There's a lot of speculation as to whether the recession will be inflationary or deflationary, but personally I'm leaning toward a stagflation scenario given the huge government liabilities that exist all over the developed world and the level of ongoing QE (record highs right now).

Considering this, I think your best bet is to buy gold, which is a good inflation hedge or depending on your degree of financial literacy to take a market short position focusing on financials. This won't give you an income stream but if you do it right you could double or triple your starting capital.

The guy has fucking permanent nerve damage and is seeking income to pay for his living expenses stop shilling gold and stupid ass market-crash short plays you asshole. What does eurozone countries having negative rates have to do with the fact that bonds are still safe? Maybe you lose a little money on the bond but at least you know how much you'll lose from the fucking start. And OP can always invest in fixed income instruments outside of bonds (those do actually exists in the real world) like notes, bills, etc.

Don't come into a thread made by someone seeking legitimate advice and start attempting to fear-monger a market crash and pump gold and shorts. You know what, I'm going to prove why you're fucking stupid.

>eurozone countries are at negative yields already, which means that the prices are extremely high

Wrong. They're at negative INTEREST RATES. Yields are positive everywhere except Germany and Switz.

>You're not going to find any good fixed income opp. around because any bond that has high enough yield to be meaningful will be high risk corp. garbage that's guaranteed to default blah blah blah

That's funny, emerging market bonds are yielding highly but aren't "corporate garbage" (the term you're looking for is "junk bond"). Looks like New Zealand is yielding 2.14%, India is at 7.18%, Greece is at 8.08% (we all know why), Brazil is at 11.84%, and hell the US is even at 1.54%.
Are you going to try to tell me that all of those countries will go bankrupt when the next recession starts? And if you want to talk about risk why don't you explain what you think the risk behind taking large market-shorts is? I'll give you a hint, it's unlimited since the market doesn't have a limit at the top.

As for your gold argument,

Look into moving to Portugal? You can live well on around 600 euros a month. 400 a month is also doable if you are really frugal.

buy a muscle car or an mercedes S-Class and you will still get your dick sucked. What else is there left for you in life?
Can't tell you about investment, but think about moving to a EU country that has the best benefits for handicaped. If you have any skill at all in some countries you handicap will give you an advantage in order to get hired.
