Anyone here actually have a MS in finance or anything of the sort?
have a BS in Biology, aced calc/stats, want something quantitative, math doesn't phase me, and want $$$.
Just want to be sure MS in Finance is what I should do as opposed to Economics or something like that. Just want somethere where I can have an easy time getting a job, make good money, and make lots of money soon as possible.
I'm in the same boat. Just got science degree and want to get into finance. I don't know what an MS in finance is worth, though.

Same, get very varied answers. I know a lot depends on your grades and hustle though.
MS in finance sounds like a meme.
Why not an MBA?

I understand that needs job experience and is meant more for starting a business or something like that?

I can't imagine an employer caring about a MS in finance. An MBA for sure. You don't have a job I'm guessing or looking for a new career? Going back to school is fine, but I'd try a dual MS/MBA option, those are common.
You say you like math: get an MS in a math or engineering degree to go with your MBA.

Other option is MS in CS/MBA but I'd take loans for it likely, so probably best to avoid the MBA, get work, then get it later when I think business ventures / administration is more possible?
wtf is wrong with u faggets...
education is worth nothing. Nobody gives a fuck what education you have, the only thing that matters is how you present yourself in resume and interview.

This is pretty true.

its all of it
why not sit the CFA

If you don't have a university degree your resume won't even make it past the HR software
>>1413301
The problem is getting your foot in the door to even get an interview, or to get experience.

So lie on it?

How good are background checks at catching lies? How much could one expect to get away with?
