I'm 18 and recently graduated... you can consider me upper lowerclass as im making my way through college and wanted to change my life around for the better in a way that involves money...over all im aware this is 4chan and that the responses im bound to maybe get is somthing I will take in thought and determine weather or not they are legit.
My main point is how do I start investing ? and where do I google online brokers that wont scam me? and what platform do I use that all investors use instead of ETRADE?
This world of investing is filled with greed and regret and im asking anons to somewhat guide in a direction of investing hoping to somehow learn money while earning it..

tdameritrade, also, do not use robinhood, it is a waste of time.

I use Schwab. Just find an office, sit down and set up an account, make sure you have a check for a minimum deposit (2000 for me), and start looking at and researching companies. I usually invest in utilities, very stable, good dividends, and always rising. So look into that.
Companies that have served me particularly well are BAC, EXC, AEE.
