I posted an ad today offering to invest people's money based on my recent success in the stock market. This person just texted me about a private money lending oppurtunity. Thoughts?

could be a trap.. pretty sure it's illegal to invest other people money without a liscense.
Does anyone know how to wire large amounts of money? I need to make sure I keep it under $10,000.

Dude fuck that. Don't be a fool. Why not just go on prosper or lending club?
dude is a loan shark. you like eating through a straw? how confident are you of beating the markets? how long have you been trading? 5-10 years is solid track record. don't be fooled by short term return. a broken clock is right twice a day. don't think i'm belittling you. i'm an active trader too but i'm smart enough to know when i'm generating real alpha.
1. I have a buddy who studied finance and works for a pension funds and always beats the markets. He sold his entire private portfolio due to the sounds that the Italian banks need help.
2. Besides some rare exceptions (like low interest student loans) investing with loans is stupid. For the simple reason that your profit margins decrease while if you fail your losses would multiply. So your risk increases by a lot.
Besides that judging by your posts you dont seem to be knowledgeable about money. Which means your literally gambling.
3. A fucking text message.. really? You're asking me if you should take a loan from a random stranger because he send you a text message?
What the fuck is a "private money lender"? Is that basically a formal way of calling yourself a fucking idiot giving money to strangers?

Chances are this is just a scammer and he's gonna try and get some money from you in fees or whatever.
If it's a loanshark, its a simple EV problem, what's your ROI, Standard deviation, what's his interests rates. Probably not worth it anyways, loanshark is last resort, interests are high
