Is lithium still worth investing into or has it simply become a dead meme? Looking for some lithium mining companies to do some DD on if anyone can give me some pertinent information.

Lithium is over rated. Battery companies will switch materials if the price goes up too much, batteries just won't sell at twice-triple their current price.

Is there any company in particular that just has a monopoly on this sort of mining? Why aren't the chinese simply doing what they do best and creating startup mining companies to make a quick buck?

Think people will move onto new battery technology? Are there any other type of materials that have a similar price point as lithium that provide similar outputs? If not, then why won't lithium soar?

>why won't lithium soar
It's simply not economical to make batteries from it if the price soars. Battery price is the main factor keeping electric cars from being cheap and widespread as it is and there is a lot of people researching alternative battery tech for that very reason.
buy gxy, cnj, bar
thats lithium, cobalt, gold/cobalt
lithium will define next 20 years, no other battery technology will adapt cuz those gay studies arent business.. there will be hell of electric vehicles, batteries in consumer shit, bikes, buses, .. adopting new technology takes years to test, its overal riskier, years to persuade investors/companies, ......just look from diff angle fags

Lithium may be a great buy but the expectation is sometimes short sighted.
In resources especially with something like Lithium you have to take into account smaller more effecient cells, so less lithium per cell. Also smaller, less power hungry electronics which is a big trend, leading to smaller longer lived batteries.
Lithium recycling is a big deal, and the Tesla factory is going to be doing a lot of that for its cars. The real question here is did we reach a saturation point for the next few years on Lithium?
