Hey /biz/ bros,

I am an IT security guy who does reasonably well for himself. However, I'm always a subcontracter. Quite honestly, I'm the whore who's pimped out to corporate johns.

I'm okay with this lot in life, except I'm getting paid like a cheap whore despite having clients in oil and gas.

Is there anyway I can take my business to the US and work for clients there? I'm well credentialed, lotsa certs, nearly 20 years of experience, but I really want to offer my services to american companies.

What is the cheapest way to do this? Green card lottery? Start a business? Beg other businesses to partner with me and offer them 20% finders fee on all the work they can get me? All of the above.

Any recommendations would be appreciated!
