Why is price-fixing prohibited when done by corporations, but OK when unions do it? Isn't it the same concept?

It's not the same.
Unions negotiate with said corporations regarding wages and working conditions. I don't think anybody would complain if corporations negotiated with consumers' unions to fix prices for their products either.

Unions participate in collective bargaining which is different from price fixing. It's the same process any individual worker could do, but just leverages numbers to actually get a result.
