Use a stock screener like FinViz, do your damn research (can't stress it enough), and know when to buy and sell. Some takes a quick trigger, others take patience. I've lost a lot of money from selling too early. For example, CERU. I bought 200 shares at $2.14 cause why not. I sold at $2.20 to get off cause I didn't think it'd rise. Sure, I made $12, but if I had patience, I could have sold around $3.25 and made $200 more. It's literally gambling, less volatile than a 50/50 win all/lose all, but still gambling. Nobody can properly predict what will happen, just be as smart as you can about your investing.
