I want to trade forex and futures on a demo account, and maybe a small amount of real money for now. Can I get advice on where to go to do this? Tried opening an account @ Dorman, but they require all this info I don't have or even feel the need to give anyone to do just this, plus I suspect they won't even let me in at this point.

I don't know if you need to sign up but thinkorswim does have futures demo trading. As for FX you can use just about any retail broker such as icmarkets.com, I suggest you use their cTrader platform for many complex reasons.
