What platforms do you guys use to trade on the stockmarket(besides Robinhood)?

I'm thinking about going with OptionsHouse but I'm not sure it's the best choice and would like to hear about your experience with trading platforms.

Is robinhood a solid deal? What kind of options do you have on there? I heard some guy complaining about the limited trading options or some shit
>>
>>1391554
I don't think robin hood has options, stocks only but I'm thinking of opening an account to play with penny stocks
>>
Not OP but I'm signing up for qTrade (Canadian) and I just want to buy some specific stocks, should I select "Long calls and puts" or "Covered writing" when I apply? No idea what those are.

I'd say it's directly related to how much capital you're operating with.
My positions are large enough and I'm into enough different things that I can't do without realtime quotes, margin/shorting, after hours access, etc.
But I can see if I didn't do this full time and was operating with just a little capital, it would make a lot more sense.

Robinhood is good if you're broke and just looking for gambling with better odds.
If you've got tens of thousands of dollars to blow you should be using a real broker. The fees don't matter at that scale.
