What do you consider filthy rich? $20 million? If you did have that much money to spend on bitcoin then why would you spend it on bitcoin? You might find that $20 million is worth $5 million in 10 years. You are better off putting the money in a vangaurd index fund and just living off the ROI.

Pretty much this. Best cast scenario bitcoin goes to $1800 and you triple your money. That's a total crapshoot though and might take decades. It also might go down to $100 per coin lose most of your investment. The days of getting rich off bitcoin are over unless you are rich already.
