Chef. People will always want orgasmic, entertaining meals even if nutrition becomes 100% commodified as synringes/3d printers or whatever.

But the sex robots won't be allowed to slap you around.
And it will hurt your dick to slap them around.

Journalists
Lawyers
Entertainers

These are the professions that silently run modern society and will continue to do in the future
>>
>>1389671

Theoretically, robots can do this better tho
>>
>>1390099
Haha. Sure, same as fucking hairdressers and telephone sanitizers
>>
Good chunk of the service industry will definitely stick around. My guess is at the absolute worst, 40% will remain. Having humans working in your establishment is going to be what makes your place less soulless. Imagine Walmart with robots and no humans. I'm pretty sure they'd lose a LOT of business that way.

>I'm pretty sure they'd lose a LOT of business that way.
Actually they'd gain a fuckton of the socially akward/NEET demographic as customers.

Of course, in lieu of staff, there'll be guards.
>>
>>1389649

None.

They will all be automated
>>
>>1389649
If we don't stop automation now while its taking minimum wage jobs, then the only jobs that will be available are creative jobs. Because they are literally the only jobs robots cant do.

A robot cannot be a writer, a robot couldnt make music etc. This will mean libcucks with liberal arts degrees will be laughing at you and your doctorate because a robot will be performing surgeries 500 times better and more accurately than you, and a painter or some shit will be the highest earner
>>
>>1390671
You're really wrong about that, robots are learning to write and do creative tasks as we speak. Look it up.
When the singularity happens (predicted for 2029) tech will advance at such a pace that it will not make any sense to us. Soon after that, robots will probably do literally everything, and all humans will have to do is enjoy life.
Either that or we will all freak out cause no one has a job and we will all be homeless and starve

kek

>>1389671
automation engineers will automate the process

>>1389649
Most engineers will be fine, teachers, nurses, doctors (kind of, i forgot who but some big company is working on making a robot doctor that is more consistent than the average doctor), psychologist, lawyer, accountant (this sounds silly but there is alot of client interaction and what not that clients just don't want to have to have deal with computers and what not to give them a bland response). All tradies will be fine

I'm a man who is switching to nursing because I'm not going to get fucked by automation and technology.

Hands-on healthcare is one of the absolute safest bets, particular when there is a lot of red tape, such as being able to push meds, etc. I would have gone paramedic (being a Firefighter/EMT before), but the pay and advancement is shit.

Also, with the population longevity increase, and aging population overall, there is going to be incredible demand and job growth for the next couple decades.

That said, areas like X-ray and radiology are kinda scary because a lot of shit is getting outsourced. Every office doesn't need its own X-ray equipment anymore, and a lot of CT results etc. are simply sent away for interpretation, leaving this a dangerous area.

For the supremely lazy, counseling, despite the so-so pay, is considered one of the jobs that is immune to technology.

In Australia, self serve checkouts are actually more desirable. I pick it almost exclusively.
>>
>>1390701
Either that or we will all freak out cause no one has a job and we will all be homeless and starve

Our only hope (Atleast the 99%ers as in the poorest people in the world) will be space exploration.
>>
>>1390962
But do you not realize the economic impacts of this? Imagine if humans still made cars and everything else in factories and there were no self serve check outs etc.

Australia's unemployment rate wouldn't be anywhere near as bad as it is now, and it's only going to get worse if we allow this to continue.
