The guy who invented the coffee collar is a billionaire while there are guys who invented devices for oil companies that make them millions daily are living very middle class. I know one personally. How you go about seeking intellectual property rights is very important.
So /biz/, I have things to sell, little gimmicks that places like thinkgeek would wet themselves over. And things like a new type of welder that would have major industrial uses. Some would need trademarked and others patented or copyrighted. Oh, and an entire book of t-shirts.
So how do I go about doing this? I want to actually make money off these things, not sell my soul for a fraction of what they are worth.
Plz respond

FILE YOUR TRADEMARK APPLICATIONS
FILE YOUR COPYRIGHT APPLICATIONS
FILE YOUR PATENT APPLICATIONS
whichever is appropriate for what you're trying to protect
>how do i go about this
type PATENT APPLICATION
TRADEMARK APPLICATION
or COPYRIGHT APPLICATION into google and proceed

Sell the product first. Patents cost thousands and take years to process your application. ProTip: don't pay to patent shit that don't sell.
>b-but what if someone copies me while I'm getting things started wash
Don't be a patent troll faggot. That person probably started way earlier than you OR that person is a patent troll with legal knowledge and deeper pockets than you. Too bad go cry in your mom's milky titties while I rail her from behind. You like it don't you queerboy. Unngh you almost look like a young girl from behind esp while you cry..
