I fell for the "go into what you like" meme when I chose to do a history degree at my university.
I'm 1 year off from graduating and I have ZERO idea what the fuck I'm going to do next. I have experience in marketing and public service.
I have ambitions to become a politician of sorts, or get into politics one way or another to pursue right-wing values.
I also live in Canada.
Any advice /biz/?

Become a politician and kill other politicians then kill yourself when you get caught

>tfw split between economics or history
Help me /biz/. Universeity is free in my country, but the place I'll get my economics degree costs money. What would you guys say about this? The degree is specifically called "Economy and administration" if that says anything

Pick economics, I fell for the "do what you like meme" too. I quit last year and am going to study Finance.
Do what you like in your own free time. Nothing is stopping you from learning for free.

That's not how professional politicians do it.
First you sell your dignity, freedom and soul and decide to go into politics. Then you join whichever political party/fraction can offer you the best career path, future prospects, least risk, exit opportunities etc.

Im 3rd year econ and its great, did hist first year and it was ok, a lot of essays. If you want to be a lawyer either is fine if you want to be a politician go econ
Join the Military. Will help your political career immensely.

i did econ, loved it. And decent amount of jobs out there for it. People in business think econ is some grand math major that is modeling all day so they hire em.

Yea fuk essays, thats the thing i loved about econ, mainly just doing math all day and graphs not alot of writing compared to like English or hist majors.

You can segway into a similar degree if you really want.
Add an extra year or so and you can get a teaching credential which opens a lot of doors for international and local careers. If you really like teaching History/English you can then further towards an MA for High School or PHD is you want to contribute to the field and possibly work in a university. God knows the Humanities is in desperate need of right-wing Marxist free scholars.

Its not too late to change you retard

A manual labor trade or the military.
You basically have no options. The history degree is going to be an asset in no way.
Sorry bro, but you're gonna have to work like everyone else now.

Fucking this!
God I'm so sick of these fucking uni kids spouting Marxist, socialist, communist fucking bullshit. Softest cunts. I live near 3 universities in Sydney and there's signs everywhere supporting this shit. And more refugees. Yeah nah fuck off cunts.
You could be the hero we need.
