Are 401(k) and IRA investments pointless if I want to retire in my 30s? Just stick to index funds?

Is your concern that you can't withdraw the money? Someone's never heard of a SEPP.
>p.s. You won't be retiring in your 30's anyway
Money is more useful now than later. Once you've settled into life and have money spare, worry about retirement accounts.

>SEPP
Looks interesting. So you'd say they are worth it?
>You won't be retiring in your 30's anyway
Not with that attitude

>So you'd say they are worth it?
Is tax-free investment worth it? Is that seriously your question?
brb, washing my brain in bleach. This board sucks.

>Are they worth it?
Do you get a match?
>It's free real estate
None of them are useful if your goal is to retire in your 30s
The only way to do that is to have an income high enough to make it happen.
There is no investment vehicle that is going to generate enough money to make that happen if you don't already have millions.

But didn't the Mr Money Mustache guy do exactly that?
