Tyler and Cameron Winklevoss are successfully navigating the labyrinthine process of SEC approval for the Winklevoss Bitcoin Trust (Pending:COIN), which will be the GLD of bitcoin. It will offer retail investors the convenience and liquidity that they currently lack. What does that mean for bitcoin? It could easily drive it above $1,000/BTC as it gets wider adoption by both investors and merchants.

Just go to the store, it is faster. The clerk won't need to wait 10 confirmations and 3 days that your debit card is good.

>successfully navigating
It's been two years since they started trying. They were trying before /biz/ even existed as a board.
You have a funny definition of "success." Then again, you believe in investing in bitcoin, so you're demonstrably retarded.

it should be the same as using apple pay. you open an app that shows the QR code for your bitcoin address and the shop scans it, maybe you need to confirm something or enter a password.
the trouble with bitcoin is that as previous anon mentioned, it takes more than an hour to confirm the payment. for it to be useful, it should happen instantly. not shilling but trumpcoin happens in a minute or two, i don't know why bitcoin takes so long.
bitcoin is handy for transferring large sums across the world, where an hour or three doesn't make a huge difference, but at the gas station it is pretty impractical.
